Default S2000 or 370z

Still undecided. I want to post more here on this board. Been posting on s2ki.com trying to research. Not too many neutral discussions when it comes to 370z on s2ki...which is understandable. But, one of the comments at s2ki was that 370z is mostly about power and that if you put it on the track, the oil will overheat and brakes will give out.

That definitely sounds like hyperbole to me.

Anyways, the 370z styling is definitely growing on me.

Decisions, decisions.

I had an 08 S2000. It depends on what you want. The S is small and I got tired of being so cramped. The car handles like a golf cart, but not as much power as the Z. I have a Nismo now and wouldn't trade it for anything. It handles great and you have plenty of power on tap. Besides the Z is way better looking.

And also, if you don't want to read spear tossing threads, just go to the Tech Area and read the threads on the Brakes and the Oil Coolers individually. Several people have upgraded in both areas and can asstest to their pros/cons individually to give you an objective viewpoint about each area.

With any car if your putting it on the track you should upgrade the brakes.. The brakes arent intended for track use, they are intended for street use. Same with the oil cooler. I was shopping against the s2000 It all depends on what your looking for. What are you looking for in your new car exactly?

lmao this makes me laugh

So the defense is our breaks and oil temp issues rule out the car.

Those issues can be fixed for what? Under $1000 together??

If you're planning on tracking a car those should be the first things addressed in ANY car.
