don't let them detail or wash your car. they will just grind the rail dust and dirt into the paint and give you swirls. Have them remove the plastic, and thats it.

A+ on those last two.

The last one really had me going.

I heard about a guy that took his to the dealer. After getting his worked on they detailed it and missed a spot the customer pointed it out. The detail guy literally took a rag off the floor to wipe the car. Luckily he was there to stop him. :shakes head:

yea, they don't care about your car. as long as you come back to them for service. if you want your car detailed, have it done by a professional detailer or just do it yourself.

Don't turn off VDC when it's raining or icy out, or you will wreck your car.

I had my VDC off when it started raining at the track and almost ran the fasted time I did all day when it was dry. I held 120 mph in the banked turn in the rain at Auto Club Speedway.

There is clearly a right way and a wrong way to drive your car with the VDC off in ANY weather. Depends on who's driving the car and how much lunacy shall take place behind the wheel I guess.

Now icy....

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I picked up the car yesterday and I'm loving it! The bumpers and sideskirts paint dosent match the car but it looks a lot worse in pictures tho I'll try and put one up later. Thanks again everyone!

They forgot to charge my A/C as well...

Also my paint was in a horrible condition and I did not even notice it because the dealer hid the minor scratches all over the car with wax. When the wax washed off I had a big surprise . Had to pay $200 to a detailer to fix it.

The big a$$ two holes on my front bumper underneath the license plate frame.
