Will be a new owner of 370z
Hi guys.
I would like to introduce my self to the forum!! I am very interested to get a 370z for my replacement of Hyundai genesis coupe. It was really nice car, but it was total loss due to the accident ....sad story. So I decide to give my self a different car to drive. (i Love RWD cars@@) I just look over the whole forums and catch current events. Alot of after markets than genesis coupe, and it is very cheaper (rotrex supercharger kit for genesis was like 8000~9000 for 420 whp) The price was alright and it was okay to get it. I am planning to get an nismo option for my self. But I could not get a chance to put in navi system ( I dont mind the navigation itself, but i like audio system and bluetooth system.) My genesis was manual so, i used to hook up my iphone paired by bluetooth system and able to control my iphone on the steering wheel. I really like the nismo trim but i want more of the navi system. it would be a perfect setup for nismo + sport package of touring. What would be the best combination for my desire!!!!???? (I like to speed and modify so i choose nismo, but I want to have comfort during driving ( imagine on the hill with red light, and having an emergency call.) I saw someone trip the navi ( kenwood) on the top of the ac but that seems to be too low for my self. ( i am 6ft) Is there a way to stick navi on the accessory box? Thanks guys for reading my awarenesssssssss |

Welcome to the forum!
First off, are you looking to buy the Nismo model? Or just add Nismo parts. I'm sorry I found it alittle difficult to understand that in your post. Some people have stated that the normal 370z is faster than the nismo because of weight differences and such. Someone can chime in on that if they know. I personally would get the sports package and then mod from the point on rather than starting from a higher price point like the nismo. Read around the forum, the search function will help immensely! Most importantly have fun and don't take any harsh comments too seriously here |

Welcome!
It sounds like you want the everyday creature comforts and conveniences the Touring package gives. Since this is not available on the NISMO you're best bet would be a Z with the Touring + Sport packages. Performance wise the NISMO isn't really anything special compared to a Sport Z, so you don't miss out on anything other than the NISMO body kit. BTW, since you're in NOVA, feel free to stop by our Saturday meets at the Starbucks in Fair Lakes. You can check out our cars and get and get an idea of what would suit you best. We have a NISMO 370Z that shows regularly as well as a number of Touring + Sports and a 40th Anniversary or two. Here's the thread with details: NOVA: Zs & Coffee - Starbucks every Saturday @ 10AM

Welcome. I too had a car get totalled (modified Evo IX) and decided to go in the direction of my 370z and I couldn't be more pleased with that decision! |

I think if you are looking to mod, nismo might be a bad idea. If you are looking to mod suspension, you've already spent extra money on suspension from the factory. If you buy aftermarket wheels, you've already spent extra on those. Aero components, you've alraedy spent money on those. exhaust, etc. I love how the nismos look, but i bought a fully loaded 6mt Z for less than a nismo would have cost.
