I don't normally like to get involved in these heated battles but I'm bored, and I'm curious to know why Frost thinks the 350 handles better than the 370.
Not to be mean, but post count measures "post count" nothing more nothing less. That's like saying I posted the most in a drag forum, that doesn't make me a better driver... |

Still currently owns both as well. Although the wife has taken over the 350 (hence the blingy rims).
I have 15K miles logged in my 350, 30k logged in my 350, and many track sessions logged in both. Everyone who knows me knows I've driven everything from a twin turbo gto, to a c6 corvette, to an 05 Honda RC51, and the opinion of people who didn't own a 350 means as much to me as as my wife's opinion on rim selection, which isn't a lot ![]() Here's a post from another member I considered knowledgeable through our offline conversations, in which he said the 370 handling is "total crap" Now U Can Hate Me - 370z v 350z If you want to disagree, go ahead and do it. Bitching about my post count or my wife's wheels like a little cunt only suggests you have no real point to make :blows kiss: |

After getting my 370 i've never heard one positive comment from any 350 owner, they only want to talk about what they dislike about the 370. Jealously is a stinky cologne. |

I have no knowledge on how well the 350 really handles but if it does indeed handle better than a 370 (besides high speed highway) then that's impressive because the 370 handles pretty damn well stock. |

In auto-x the 350z guys can't keep up. I'm in the stock class so no mods really to talk about. All the 350z guys want a 370z and hate when I come out because they can't run the times I do. I'm no expert either and have only been doing auto-x for a year. I run the fastest typically in BS except for one guy in his STI with sticky tires.
I've driven the 350z several times as well as other Z's from different eras. Hell I own a modified 280z and 300zx. Hands down the 370z handles the best, in my opinion. I'd like to see some data that shows the 350z handles better because all the current data supports the 370z is better in the corners. |

It's not like Nissan just decided to put less Unicorn blood in the 370Z than it did in the 350Z. There are engineering and design trade-offs... And yes, this is coming from someone who had a 2008 350Z and now has a 2009 Nismo 370Z. |

I have an answer to his post in that thread. There is also another thread here about high speed stability and twitchiness in the 370: Fixing corner grip on bumpy surfaces? There is also a second thread on this, but I can't locate it right now. I have experienced this "twitchiness" at high speed when encountering a bump, and it can be very scarey. My mechanic I use for for mods runs a high end shop and is a retired former accomplished racer, having won a few Porsche 944 series cups, and also raced a Noble, as well as running the cannonball in a Lambo............. interesting dude and very good driver. Before he installed my sway bars we took the car out on a ride, at about 120 MPH on a long, semi-straight entrance ramp (timed with no traffic around to try and be as safe as possible), we hit a bump and the car got all squirrely for a second or two before it "grabbed" traction again. I think this may be what the member is referencing in your thread link. The other thread I can't seem to locate right now suggest overly compliant rear rubber bushings to improve the ride quality at slower speeds.......... aftermarket parts suggestions to correct this (lower arm I believe). Having previously owned a 350, I think both cars handle great IMO, and at slower speeds (below that high speed bump issue) I prefer the 370 (stock to stock). Once you start aftermarket mods anything is possible.
