For the most part it is very hard to conventially steal the newer Nissan's. They have the newer and ever evolving NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System) A few years back when they stole my G35, they were smart enough to know this and just used a tow truck to steal it. LOL
Even if you had the exact key cut (even the proper laser key for the car) you have to use a Nissan Consult II hand held computer to properly program that particular key or set of keys to your cars particular ECU. When we flash the ECU's in these cars we have to reprogram both the laser keys for the car as well, otherwise after 10 start attempts without the laser chip in the key properly programmed for the car the cars NATS system (that is built into the ECU) will completely lock any user out, even with the correct programmed key.
