Does anyone have, or have had the Viper alarm Voice alert unit? It appears you can use viper pre-programmed voice alerts, or record your own? Is this worth the money,

Viper Voice alert for alarms
Does anyone have, or have had the Viper alarm Voice alert unit?
It appears you can use viper pre-programmed voice alerts, or record your own? Is this worth the money, or just stupid? It just seems like if the car talks it may stand out more than the common car alarm sounds....... Just need an opinion, thanks! |

Wow...didn't know they even still did this. In the early 90's I had this feature added to an Alpine alarm that protected a Cherokee with a huge audio system in it. It spoke when the alarm was armed, disarmed, someone got to close and even let you know when your cell phone was ringing.
It was a lot of fun and got a ton of attention. E |

I just had a old/new stock talking viper talking microwave alarm installed on my roadster, I love it! It keeping people away from the car as this is all really needed to to. It is wired seprate from the factory alarm so I can turn it off or on when needed. Oh by the way, it was hard to find one of these units

My neighbour had this on his Camaro back in the 80's. I remember the car saying "Step away from the car".....hahahaha.
Then the other neighbours got annoyed because we kept on triggering it when someone walked by. |

does anyone know where I can get the Viper system with a real viper that protects your car like in the commercial? I've been trying to find this forever, and it seems like they don't make this model anymore or something...here, this one:
