i love my 370z, but some of you guys are just hardcore 370z fanboys and couldnt be bothered to be more open minded to realize the potential of the s2000. there are a few bolton turbo kits for the s2000 that puts out 400+whp reliably. call churches automotive and ask them how many reliably built daily driven s2000s they have tuned.
i love my 370z, but you have to give credit when credit is due. forget the high hp numbers, the s2000 is still a track beast. just to point one more thing out, the s2000 is definitely a grown mans car, not a kids car. 600whp daily driven s2000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FuhIGvu2qg 451whp SC s2000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKZV6gLuCuk FYI, most bolt-on turbo kits for the s2000 goes for around 5-6k MSRP Last edited by Notsud 13; 12-11-2011 at 03:05 PM. |

I've owned both.
I've had an AP1 S2k and an AP2 S2k and now have a 370. The S2k is MUCH easier to drive IMO, but has basically no TQ. You also have to rev to 4K from a stop if you want to get any enthusiam off the line. The S2K handles better and has a nice, leather interior as a standard. The soft top is not durable and is prone to ripping over time. For me, the S was more fun to drive, even though it's slower. 370 is slightly more practical, plus the hatchback and double DIN location are important for audiophiles like me. Just my 2 cents. |

buddy of mine had an s2k.. i loved it. woulda loved it more if i could fit in it. i would of even consider'd to buy one if i could. im to tall. also he had trans issues with his prolly from beating on it. but i can say there very safe cars.
side note i took the Z on a road trip with the girl and a dbag in his s2k tried to race me, he looked silly. his head was like a foot over the windshield. lookin like he barely fit in it. |

I love those cars... they are just too small for me. No thigh room, non adjustable steering wheel and column, the seat barely moves, and if you think we have no trunk space, the 370Z is like a truck compared to the S2000.
They are fun cars to drive, but they are not as stable at high speeds. They are very twitchy and are really hard to push on the track. My Z feels WAY more controllable, even when the car starts to over steer, it's predictable. From my experience, the S2000 is not the same and is more difficult to drive. I like both cars, I bought a Z because it fit what I wanted more. I'm a hardcore Honda guy and always have been, but the S2000 just ain't for me. |
