Jack stand placement question.
So I bought some jackstands and have some pads for them on order. I know where to jack the car up and I know the spot for the stands, but my question is more about the exact placement of the jack. Does the pinch weld seam actually sit in the groove of the stands? I feel the groove is kind of shallow and I don't want to bend the seam. Just want to get some advice from those who lift their cars often(Advice that doesn't include get a lift. I have no garage! ).

You place the pinch rails on your Jack stands so it forms a cross. Don't worry if it's not exactly centered on the Jack. And don't be concerned if your pinch rails bend slightly. Be sure to slowly lower your z on your stands.
