You know what really sucks here? Those damn sprinklers that come on and leave water spots on just one side of the car and a rusty brake disk.
Sorry to hear about this though. |

i know! god damn sprinklers. well i hope these a$$holes at least got wet, although, based on the water marks on the rotors, it would appear that the water was unabated in its landing on the rotor, meaning that the rotor was exposed when the sprinkler came on, meaning this MUST have happened before or during the time when my sprinklers were on. This evidence, coupled with the fingerprints from the leftover lug nuts should be more than sufficient to fully prosecute these individuals! jesus christ this is like Law and Order!.
When i told the officer i had not touched anything including the lug nuts on the ground he said that it wouldn't matter because they would never pursue finding any type of prints for investigation.... fail |

Gotta love the cops though huh?! I guess real crime and crime solving gets in the way of camping out in someones driveway with a radar gun and generating revenue. |

That's a good deterrent - but you really should get an aftermarket alarm if you are going to leave her outside... locking lugs are a 10 second inconvenience for a thief who is determined to have your wheels...

A CCTV cam setup is probably the way to go in this case along with motion lights.
A standard socket won't even fit in my wheels and they are all locking. |

I'm calling an alarm shop tomorrow to find out about a viper installation. this car isn't staying outside overnight until theres an alarm and wheel locks on it.

Nice has little to do with it. They did the same thing when they stole the wheels off my brother's Sentra 5 yrs ago. It has more to do with the convenience of using bricks as a jack and then leaving them there for a quick getaway. The thieves are there for the wheels. What do they care about damaging anything?

yea i don't think its a matter of nice. its a matter of them trying not to get hurt while stealing what keeps your 3000+lb piece of metal off the ground out from under it. trust me, if they could yank the wheels off and have the car fall to the ground, crushing the rotors etc and NOT get hurt, they would.
