I was going a completely different direction with "LSD". I think that's one of its effects. Serious note, the LSD in the sport pkg. is def. good enough for DD. Not much more, as JAR said. |

Viscous Liquid Crystal Display? That seems redundant

Ha!!! Another gem from the forum's real treasure, Mr. Kenchan. Does his wit know no boundaries? It seems not.

Love the sport pkg. At least 13+ owners got nice base wheels.
09-12 owners. If you didn't buy aftermarket wheels for your base? You have no dignity or self respect. Hahahaha. Just kiddin'. That was harsh, BUT... 09-12 base wheels make a nice upscale looking sports car look kinda cheap. Even my wife was completely against the base and she's not into sports cars like I am.

Sports package is a great deal if you don't plan on modifying the elements that are added with the package.
Non-sport gives you $3k to drop on more serious modifications (and makes it easier to drop in some of the Torsen diffs available). The Rays are a great reasonably lightweight option, but there are better choices (especially as going wider up front is critical on the Z), and they're the most important part of the package. The VLSD won't stand up to any of the use you'd actually want an LSD for (except maybe drag racing). SRM may matter to some, I guess, but NVA in my mind. Brakes are still a question mark in my mind (is getting air on them enough?)...I'd probably go elsewhere either way. But, great value if you're keeping those parts on the car. You can sell the Rays and brakes for nearly what the sport package costs if you upgrade from there.

Versus on the base model, you'd still have brakes/wheels to throw on in case of tire damage/return to stock/etc |
