happy- oh no... not again~! my one rear wheel is still damaged with mount marks from the local stupid redneck fatarse hotdog brain so called 'tire store.' i drive out to tirerack for new tires or go to a local speed shop with touchless mounter. i will absolutely not trust anyone mounting tires without a touchless mounter. it's just not physically possible to mount these large wheels with performance tires without one. |

Well I have neglected my Z even that I wash it and keep it clean on the regular basis.
However today I decided that it was going to be the day for the Z with no hurry. Gave her a good bath and a nice coat of wax with ICE. I also polish out a scratch that was caused by the ceiling drywall in my garage that a piece felt on the quarter panel. But still need some work, is not noticeable but to me it is. Well that is my fault because is one of those house repair jobs that I have neglected to do. But I'm buying a cover for my car now. Then took her for a ride to get the new spring settle, some premium gas and get some pics with the new drop on TEINs. Plus I got the SPC camber kit this week and need to order the spacers.

Yah, this made me more mad than when I'd done it myself.... At least then I had no one to blame but my carelessness, you know?

Today I tried embrace the idea that people just don't give a damn...
It has finally stopped raining here in Central PA, so I took the opportunity to give Stella a much needed bath. After a week of slick-tyre hooliganism in monsoon like conditions and a visit to the dealer for an oil change, fresh rubber, an alignment and state inspection, she was a filthy girl!
Cleaning your car properly always makes you aware of every nick and stone chip, so I know when a mark is new. I discovered this one today: I can only conclude that the technician working on my car was careless when getting in and out and caught his shoe on the doorsill. When I got to detailing the wheels, I found this: WTF?!?!?! I understand that some sort of tool might have been necessary to start removing the weights from the wheel before balancing, but what did this guy do, use a chisel to remove the adhesive? On the other wheels, there are some small nicks from where the old weights were removed and the adhesive was still there. I'm guessing the other three wheels got lucky because they didn't need new weights where the old ones were previously. It took me all of a minute on each wheel to remove the remaining adhesive with a towel and some Liquid Wrench. This is just not going to fly with me. Looks like I'm making a trip back to the dealer first thing Monday morning to bring these details to the service manager. Ugh!

Looks like you have some other type of damage on the rim or it might be the camera shot angle.
