Shiiiit, I'm alright with an $80 oil change. Everyone was telling me it was upwards of $200 for the esther change.

esther sells for something like 12/quart *5 quarts = 60bucks. 80 sounds about right.

speaking of oil, i put in penzoil ultra and its been in the 80's and 90s here. ive noticed a 20 degree drop in oil temps. i hit 240 pretty easily on factory fill, but i hardly ever see 220 nowadays!

Is it esther? I'd love to "hardly" see 220 haha. And can I get oil changes at a regular oil change place as opposed to Nissan, with this oil? I want to take care of my car, but I also like finding the most sensible way to do it.

most sensible way would be to drive over to walmart, buy a 5 quart jug of penzoil ultra + mobil1/purolater/k&n filter; drive home up some ramps; and change it yourself

it'll cost you ~$35, 30min of your time, and a lifetime of respect. come on...every guy should know how to change their oil!

In my last car, I changed my oil every single time. I'm sort of against it in this car mainly because it's just new and expensive and I feel that somebody doing it for a premium price feels more right on a premium car. I've done ~20 oil changes in the past, I just choose not to do it on this car. I wonder if any oil change places around here hold pennzoil ultra.
