finalllllyyy got to drive it. felt so nice to be back in it. i tried to give it some revs on the long stretch of road before i turn into my office, but some idiot in a BMW X5 decides to slam on the brakes instead of going through a yellow light.

Tell me about it, Im at almost a 2 month wait on mine. At this point its a race to see who is slower getting me my parts, Forgestar or Swift. Wish I ordered this stuff during the winter when I wasnt driving it, stupid me.

I have 18" resonators...I got to drive behind my car which people rarely get to do, car sounded much quieter than I anticipated. I am maybe doing a sound clip this weekend, I'll be sure to hit you up. I will say it sounds nice and tame with 18" resonators, amplifies the VQ and downshifting is where I feel the quality really shines

Yes just changing the stock springs. The Swift springs are designed around our stock suspension. Everyone loves em!!

Well of course, no denying that. I give Swift tons of credit even though I have yet to acquire and install mine (backorder). I have not heard any complaints about these springs. Rave reviews from everybody. Some say best bang per buck mod u can do. If your keeping your car strictly on the street & not the track there is no need for anything more IMO. Although I cant deny Id rather have some KWs

Got my Stillen 24r OC today! Whoop whoop!
Now to figure out if I can install this bad boy myself. The instructions included are for a G which, no matter how similar the cars are, is a little unsettling for a newbie like myself. And I've seen a few really good DIY threads but they either install it in front of the steering cooler (I want it the other side) and/or they cut holes into a metal plate through which to pass the lines, but I don't want to do that if it's not necessary. Which it isn't - I know two guys in Vegas who have this kit and never cut anything. So I need a driver's side install DIY with no cutting on this kit. Is there one I've missed? |
