Looked at my rear tires.
Started thinking about what my next set of rubber will be.

I have seen a few of these installed, and I keep asking myself if it's worth the trouble to do that install? Merely eye-candy right? hmmmmm... I go back and forth.... do you like it? changes the look of the interior of the car?

It takes me longer to wash my car. That said, it doesn't do anything other than give you a "racier" looking start button with a harder, smoother plastic feel versus the subdued look and brushed, softer feel of the white button. I am happier with it installed, though. If I had designed the car, it would have come with a red button and red brakes to begin with.

Washed the car just before dusk. Took it for a quick spirited spin and had to rewash rear fenders. Would those stock mud flaps have helped?

I am very happy with the look the red GT-R start button gives the interior. I like the look much better than the stock start button. Otherwise it operates the same as the OEM button. In the grand scheme of car modding it is a very inexpensive mod that requires minimal time and effort to switch out. That's the best kind of car mod.
