What did you do with your Z today

Went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight. Great food, but there was a lot of it! Lots of food = take out containers. We were going to the movies afterwards.

Went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight. Great food, but there was a lot of it! Lots of food = take out containers. We were going to the movies afterwards.

Here's how the conversation went:

Wifey - "The take out containers will be ok in your car for a couple of hours.....right?"

Silence........

Me - "Ummm, no...that's not right."

It's a good thing the restaurant (which was in the same plaza as the movie theater) is only three minutes from the house because there was no way on God's green earth that I was going to allow that stuff to fumigate the interior of my car!

Am I right guys?

Just looking for a way to save some time on the washing portion of detailing my car so I can spend more time on other things, like more religious vacuuming!

Saving time and water are both pluses in my book.

Saving water, I understand. Saving time, I don't. I wash and dry my 370 once a week and it takes about 30 minutes. Is waterless faster?

When I perform a proper wash/dry with the buckets and hoses and all the other accoutrements, then QD it takes me 1 1/2 hrs. This includes dragging all the stuff out and putting it all back.

Seems like it would be faster to me. Spray on and wipe off vs. spray car, soap car, then dry. Although if the waterless spray and wipe is done in smaller sections at a time, it may negate the time savings. Either way saving water is still a plus for me. Doing my green part, it's better than driving a Prius, haha.

Washed, clayed, polished, sealed today. Then drove downtown and took a couple pics.

Even with Swift drop, I don't foresee any clearance issues. The black front lip and air dams scrape all the time but the exhaust doesn't even though it looks scary in pics. These are the 2nd gen of the F.I. so they are raised slightly compared to the 1st gen.
Thanks!
post up some sound clips when you get a chance.

I am with ya....pizza stinks up the interior pretty fast (like within a few blocks). I have to leave the hatch open (garaged) all night just to air it out.

No Z action for me today, and it's filthy. Old skool wash is due.

I'm amazed you had time to do anything after doing all that? Was it a rotary polish? Looks yummy!

Haha! I thought I was the only one that did this! I drive with the windows down and leave 'em down all night with the hatch open!
