What did you do with your Z today

Rain and rain this weekend. Looks like my Z is going to take a break this weekend...

My Z work planned for the weekend:

Wash and interior clean the 370
Cabin air filter 370
Install carbs/intake and tune on the 240

That's about it. No motoring planned.

We need some rain in Jersey, send it this way. Its been like 100 all week! Yesterday at my job we put two thermometers on the front deck of the store, one in the shade and one in the sun. The one in the shade read 115!! The one in the sun was maxxed out over 120!!!! Gonna be over 100 today too. Givin the Z a little rest today and taking the canoe down the Delaware w my girlfriend.

I've got a weird clunk coming from my driver side rear coilover area... going to pull the wheel off and check it out. I hope a bolt just came loose...

Other than that... I ain't doing sheeeit! First relaxing weekend in a long time!

I've been in boston since Thursday, I love it here with my Z! Driving in tunnels is awesome. Car sounds so sick in there! Lots of fun.

Is going to be over 100ºF today and is only 10:40AM and is already over 91ºF.

Plus I have to complete all my college class assignments since this is the last week of class and during the week I'm too busy.

So the Z won't see any action until I come back from vacation in Aug.

Yah, I've lived in the south a long time ago when asians were still thought to be aliens from outer space...

Dang....!! We had a pretty hot week as well. And it hadn't rained much so the rain was needed....but not at that rate.

Dang I'm jealous not having tunnels here. Tunnels are a blast to downshift.

Cabin air filter.... about how often are we supposed to change this? I had my Z since October, with about 1800 miles total

Is it more mileage or time dependent?

Both. Mostly depends on how much crap has accumulated in your car. If it is sitting and getting dusty on the inside, I'd swap it out.

Realistically, you probably never actually need to change it though.

I am not even sure the z comes with one from the factory. I am going to find out. There is a DIY thread about it. I am also unsure about how long you go before changing. Sorry, I guess this reply is on the "not too informative" side.

10s and 11s do. The 09s do not.
