K&N filters are cleanable, but please use caution with the oil. I make sure I use the oil that comes in an aerosol can because you can more easily meter the amount you apply. You do not want to get too much as the oil can foul the MAF's. Wash the filters with the cleaning solution and allow them to dry completely. Then lightly oil the filter media and also allow it to dry for a while before re-installing.

this am i looked at my Z's butt again while backing out my G to work.
after about 2months of ownership, i think im now use to looking at the Conti DW's round sidewalls. i guess it looks okay now. i got my Flip rebate thingie the other day in the mail from conti. now i know why the Flip division went under. thing is clumsy big (much bigger than i thought), almost a useless video camera. my DroidX can do the same thing if not better AND immediately email or cloud it. i keep it in the garage to take vids of any suspicious cars or activity going around in my community. |

I pulled up to a 3-way stop and the other car stopped as I was still rolling. I'm stopping but looking at the guy and like "Are you going to go?!?" and he waits for me to stop. I hate that. THEN even when I am stopped, he waits like three more seconds, and he's still not moving. I'm looking right at the guy... He's just looking, waiting for me to go, even though he was obviously there first. So I said screw it, I'm going, and I goosed it a little too hard around the right-hand turn (45 and rainy plus summer tires, and I go through this intersection every day, it's always "greasy" when it is rainy. ) I felt the VDC, correct which was weird (first time) and then I spun the tires again in 2nd and felt the traction control kick in and then I shifted to 3rd at about 15 mph, and drove off. I'm sure I looked pretty dumb... Felt pretty dumb, too. I'm an awesome driver. |

Dude, when I learned to drive, THAT'S ALL THEY HAD! We drive them all winter on bald radial tires AND WE LIKED IT!
When you needed to stop, you didn't have this ABS nonsense, you had to pump the brakes yourself, and the only "vehicle dynamic control" was "turn into the skid, and get read for it to snap back around. Nah, seriously... My 350Z I traded in on the 370 had traction control, but not VDC (Enthusiast), so I didn't know what was up for a second, I started to correct the (minor) skid and it straightened right the hell up without me doing much of anything. VDC is sort of cool I guess. |

either way, it does keep the car from uncontrollable spin-outs in near icy conditions. |
