I misread your post the first time... I thought you were following a truck and their tire blew out. If you hit something in the road that is already there...

I misread your post the first time... I thought you were following a truck and their tire blew out.
If you hit something in the road that is already there... it's your fault man. That's why you have insurance. I wouldn't bother with a police report unless your insurance company wants it. Not much you can really do.
