what you need to do is make it a day to look forward too...make an adventure out of it....Look forward to it as a day when you can really test your car out...and I'm sure you'll be driving on a lot of desolate highways, you will be able to push your car a little...drive spiritedly...even when you do that, your gas mileage will still push farther cuz you will be driving at high speed...now, I'm not telling you to drive wreckless, but I would have fun just driving my car...like I said above, I didn't experience any back pain from my drive...just make sure you set intervals to look forward to "to pit" and stretch...of course, bring a radar detector, and be on the look out for oncoming traffic and hidden spots...I got low to mid 20's when I drove that 600 miles, whereas, my normal (now) MPG is between 15-18mpg...
