No, it doesn't hide the body lines.

Yes it hides the lines imo. Thats why I got PG as it really shows the curvaceous wheel arches and other lines. But it is a beautiful color though.

Yes it does. With all due respect to everyone with the whit color, it is my least favorite color as it hides everything.

Before I bought my Z, I had all colors lined up: the white is the least exciting, the red the most brilliant, and the black the most exotic. IMHO

I have white and I honestly feel no other does the car justice ... A Clean Black one to me is just as nice but keeping that black shiny is a tough task. Both silvers to me are a bit boring all though I do like the PG esp when tastefully modded but there is something about the silver that makes me think the car looks smaller ? I get that feeling every time I look at the one that lives by my house, Im not sure why but thats what my mind tells me when I look at it lol...

Red and Blue are very personal colors and both are nice, but after having a red g35 coupe I chose to get white this time. It was tough keeping the red from oxidizing and fading, I was scared to do it all over again. At 110k and 7 years later my 03 coupe's Laser Red Mirrors and hood turned pinkish, I had to respray a lot of the panels for me to be happy, in just 4 years the color faded pretty badly, I guess I didnt wax it and treat it good enough but I def didnt neglect it at all.

I am biased against silver cars though, I just never really cared for them... Wifey has a Alpine White 325xi, I have the PW 370, and my bro who lives with us has a PPW 350Z . Looking at my driveway may blind you on a summer day, lol. So of coarse I will back up on white here...

Look at Vipors Nismo, to me , that is the one of the nicest Z's on this board and its stock...

here is mine, bone stock, before I tinted it, lowered it, and put the spacers and Rays 19s on it ... I dont see any lines hidden here

Vipors Nismo in White, I sweat the PW nismo just couldnt justify the cost difference.

actually i think white looks best on a 370z. i think white is the only color that actually shows the 370z curves.

i have a black z. i chose black for its classy look.

I wanted a white one but there where none in the area with the options i wanted so i had to settle for red. IMO white makes the car look classy as hell.

+1 FOR WHITE!

My 370 is the third white car I have owned. I almost got a PG but I ended up having to special order mine. I almost flipped a coin but after my PW G35 I knew which way to go!

PG looks good but living in Germany would keep it dirty and the cloudy days will not let any body lines be seen!

Personally, I don't feel the PW hides the lines on the 370Z at all. On my last car(2008 Mazdaspeed3) I chose a Gray over the White because I felt the white hid the lines on the Mazda but mostly because the car had very sharp lines compared to the Z's rounded fenders and more flowing lines. The pearl white has just enough flake in it to highlight the fenders and and not let them blend like a flat white would.

Photos do not do it justice and if you haven't seen one in person I definitely recommend going to see one. White does not always photograph the best since the flash takes away the contrast. If you are looking for a car that looks good in a brochure than pg is prob the best since it is one of the more metallic colors.

I don't regret my choice at all, and I get compliments ALL the time on how nice this color looks on this car. To each his own so choose what you like. Either way the 370 looks sick in any color!
Here are a few pics of mine but I say check one out for yourself as well. Good luck!

White makes the Z beautiful. It truely does. BUT it takes away the sports car feel. It gives it a classy look and it almost looks like a faux sports car. White shows off lines up close but drom far the car looks rather plain. Pearl white has a silky creamy look to it that gives it the luxury effect.
I personally feel nissan is just not creative enough when it comes to colors.
I gotta agree that silver is wack. The grey is really nice on the Z. Nicer than other grey sports cars. Black is beautiful on this car as well. Nissan makes sh1tty red cars. They look great, but in 2 or 3 years you will repent the color if u don't make car care an every 5 day ritual. Chicane yellow and monterey blue are the only 2 respectable sports car colors. Then black. Black cherry is not what I expected. On a cloudy day it looks sh1t brown.
I wanna see a higher quality red, yellow, 2 shades of blue. Orange, black, polar white green and deep purple. These are true sports car colors.

I've always hated white cars, but I do like the way the Z looks in white alot.

I have black, and IMHO it seems to hide the curves of the car the most. Although, I still love it!

i bought PW because of the way the pearl is emphasized on the fender bulges and the overall curvature of the car. this car, imo, has to much curve, rather than straight panels, for a gloss type paint to make the car "pop". Its the pearl effect that perpetuates the bulges.

Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it. All of the pictures in this thread do show the body lines very well but than there are also all the pictures that are a bit washed out and don't show anything so I really wasn't sure.
