What does it cost to ship a set of wheels?

Hey guys.. for those of you who have shipped wheels to someone or from someone, how much did it cost door to door?

with tires?
without tires?

What carrier/method?

any input would be really helpful! Thanks

Shipped a set of tires recently. (2) 50 lb bundles. NC to New England Via FedEx ground $50. Wheels weigh about the same... Wheel + tire figure 50 lb each so double that rate. Check rates at FedEx or UPS. Avoid the UPS store unless you want to pay double..

same here. about $25+ via FedEX Ground service for wheels+ tires.

i used the cardboard circles from when i bought wheel packages from tirerack. taped them up real good and shipped. price varies by weight so i suggest you quote them $30 each and then just reimburse the balance freight after it ships.
