I commonly double clutch 1st and sometimes 2nd gear, especially while the transmission fluid is cold. The syncro's in these 2 gears aren't the best.

OP does make sense. Although its an interesting find, i find no application for the technique. How is it on the tranny?

The application for this technique is shifting with a blown clutch.
