Different Seats?

I looked, but didnt find another thread about this. Sorry if that isnt the case. Anyway... Why do the two seats have different leather patterns? I have a 2010 Touring.

Default Different Seats?

I looked, but didnt find another thread about this. Sorry if that isnt the case. Anyway... Why do the two seats have different leather patterns? I have a 2010 Touring. Driver seat has a triangle of leather between the legs, the passenger seat, nada. Normal?

Pulled this picture off the net.

I don't have the touring seats, but it looks normal, confirmed by the pictures.

Extra support for the driver?

It's all good. Funny thing is, it's the same on the non touring seats and I've never actually noticed this. You learn something new everyday!

the basic answer is that the drivers seat has been designed that way to hold the driver better in place while driving.

Clearly it was done for crotch support, since they knew it would mostly be men driving. The women would be passengers, so no crotch support for them.
