That said, I wouldn't go for long distances with a baby at the front - I'd rather use my wife's Focus which has 4 seats. So, in my mind, to conclude I wouldn't forget about your dream car (370z) just because of your baby issue - just make sure you have a familly car for the long driving. Lastly, don't forget your baby will grow up rapidly and you'll regret not getting your sports car later on.
This is AMERICA, child seats in the front are ILLEGAL, period. Short trips, long trips, doesn't matter. Baby in the front, you get fined or go to jail depending on situation. We have the strictest automotive safety laws in the world.

That might work if what you say fits his situation??? Or he may have to settle for a GT. Sometimes you gotta sacrifice your dreams temporarily for your children.
