If that's the actual concept drawing for the next generation, it does look good, BUT, is it just me or the side looks like a Corvette and the back like the Hyundai Genesis Coupe..??

I like the vents behind front wheel arches. Hopefully hybrid is just a option and not only choice because that would suck

Not me. If it becomes significantly heavier, the power increase would at least have to make up for that. And it has to handle like a diva.

I'm not saying that it can be done overnight, or that a 370zh couldn't possibly be a success, but I wouldn't buy it until it could hug the corners like the current Z. Make it handle and get that grunt, and I'm on board.

i remember reading an article someone posted here somewhere saying that they canceled the 400z project because they said it would be unprofitable. im guessing this is either a new project or just rumors???

I wouldn't and do not consider Top Speed reliable. The link below is on the same page as the hybrid page. It's Top Speeds crystal ball prediction of the 2009 V8 Nissan Z!

Its a possibility but I doubt it. And that concept picture is just something that Top Speed worked up...its not from Nissan. I also highly doubt the GTR will go hybrid...

I agree, I think it looks pretty good for a concept but I think it would need alittle bit more work for the design to win me over

Either the GT-R or the Z will become (a road car or maybe only a concept) a hybrid. They both won't, though.

I'd love to see a true sport hybrid though -- a car that actually takes advantages of the instant torque of an electric engine.
