Nissan 370Z Forum

Ive got about 4k to spend on parts, help me figure out what to buy! Please..

For four grand I would do our RA light weight two piece brake rotors and coilovers and maybe sway bars. (if it is a sports package car)

He totally said he doesn't want coilovers. I would get wheels and tires.

All of these items stock are just fine for street driving, no need IMO unless you plan on tracking.

This is probably the wrong thing to say as a vendor here...but I don't care...I'm a racer first

Spend the money on track days, fuel, brake pads, and rubber....enjoy your car first the way it is...then once you really feel comfortable with your car, upgrade what you feel the car is lacking. (Oil cooler wouldn't help first though if you plan to do any aggressive driving)

This is quite refreshing to see a vendor making a statement that DOES NOT ACT to put someone elses money into his own vendor's pocket first.

I salute you, Scott, for having such integrity in this day and age where the vendor's think first only of themselves at the total expense of their customers.

Get the clear-bra first. Hen follow what Scott said. Nothing is worst than a nicked-up/bruised-up hood and bumper. After the clear bra, you should have a little bit over $3,000 to spend.
