I think this has already been posted, however I think that is a feature for cars like in Europe, Asia and Canada...

I know for sure that that feature has been on the cars in Korea for years now due to the availability and cramped parking spaces.

I thought the auto mirrors were an upgrade option only in Japan, along with many other options we do not get.

We have folding mirrors in Australia, but they dont fold when you lock the car. We have a button on the drivers door under the mirror controls that closes/opens them.

I do too butI honestly don't understand why nissan doesn't have them close when you close the door My ******* renault megane did that AND you didn't have to press a button to get in your car with a sensor on the handle

It is probably patents, even the Infinitis have door buttons.
It is super simple, RFID signal that pings the fob and then unlocks when in range.
