Is it just me or does it seem like people are purchasing 40th anniversary Z's more than any other 370 model lately? I was planning on purchasing a 40th anniversary

Everyone has a 40th
Is it just me or does it seem like people are purchasing 40th anniversary Z's more than any other 370 model lately? I was planning on purchasing a 40th anniversary as soon as I got home from this awful place I'm at and now I feel like I don't want to have the same car as everyone else. Congrats to all the new 40th Z owner's btw, but what do you guys think?

Well you've got to think...for one you are on a Z enthusiast forum, and the only 2010 Z's out in most states are either roadsters or 40th's. Still no reason to NOT get one.

We made it to 38 at the moment... http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...join-club.html
I think there are a couple of reasons you see more on here at the moment. 1. In the seasonal states, it was the only 2010 available. 2. If you buy one, chances are you are an enthusiast and therefore more likely to be on a forum like this. 3. If you don't buy one now that they are available, you will never be able to do so again. All items that will lead to a spike in these sales.... Edit: Aaron beat me to most points...

Good points made. I really just need to see this thing in person. I'm stuck in the desert and can only look at pictures of your 40th's

I was planning on buying a black base/sp and do not regret one bit that I spend the extra money on this one.

The paint is what I like the most too.....the interior is just a plus. I don't really care for any of the regular Z colors, except for the graphite.

I really don't care for the 40th Ann. No increase on power or nothing special that I can see.
To me is just the base model with the Sport Pkg for THOUSANDS more! But to each it owns!

The 40th is equal to a touring/sport no nav. So that's a 38,000 car right there. Then it has the special interior and 40th badges which makes it a collector car. Also it has those really cool rims. And around here. One of the dealerships are selling em pretty cheap. They supposed to be in the 39k range, they are going for $36k which is not bad considering a base/sport around here goes for almost 35k.

I wanted the fully loaded with nav, but once I saw the 40th in person, I could do without nav! I love the color and the interior just goes perfectly with it.

Don't worry about having the same car as everyone else as it is just your feeling that is making you think that there are more 40th Z's. The car paint in-person is A LOT better than pictures. Paint is unique to this Z and it is a collector's car. You will not regret getting this car by the way. Go get one!
