Tires Slashed
Got two of my tires slashed tonight, caught the prick in the parking lot doing it but he got away.....in his black sport z....yes a black 370z...it was a guy i actually ran into earlier in the night... i mentioned that i worked at one of the local nissan dealers, i told him which one...and than he flipped balls cause we wouldnt sell him a black sport z at invoice last month...story is he just waltzed in, would only work with a new car manager not a salesman cause he didnt want any "bs"...that he recieved at another dealer across town... he just expected us to be the same...but were not...were pretty reputable. so my manager gave him a good price...few hundred of invoice but he turned it down and went back to the other side of town and bought for hundred less or smthn.....said he liked our dealership but not our prices..whatever. were all here to make money. what pisses me off also is he just wanted to rule out a sales guy...you know we have to make a living too...ugh...anyhoo...so i guess the guy and his buddies followed me for awhile and when i went in a store they did their handy work...but they are morons and now i have a idea of who they are...so im just going to track them down...but thats pretty gay for some dude to do that, to take his anger out on my z,...cause he couldnt save a couple hundred bucks and buy a z at invoice....what a douchebag....sorry for my hatin'...just pissed at people....mainly d'bags who dont get their way....mainly cause they are d'bags and no one likes them.

Umm .. wow .. I still can't believe what I am reading. Sorry that idiot slashed your tires. I hope you filed police report. Good luck with the whole thing. |
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. What a douche bag... Hope everything turns out alright for you.

but seriously ,that sucks buddy, hope you can get it all sorted out. |
um...i hope you didn't file a police report and you do track him down :stirthepot:
|
I don't know what's more funny, someone slashing a salesman tire because he couldn't save couple of hundred bucks, or a another 370z owner slashing another 370z owner's tire haha :roflpuke2::bowrofl::rofl2:
|
What a douche. Get a life.
|
For real?!?! Wow this guy is ****ed in the head! Now it's going to cost him a little more than a hundred bucks. What a prick. I hope this never happens to anyone again. That poor Z must be crying right now
|
I encourage the OP to have a police report done right away, turn the claim into your insurance carrier, get the new tires and then be done with it. Recommend you do not personally or have your friends pursue the guy(s) you 'think' did the dirty deed. Bright side of this story is he did not key the car instead. Tires in reality are an easy fix. So, again let the police deal with it, get your new tires and roll on.
Words of wisdom from an ole fart (61yo) . |
if he came in and did negotiations at your dealership, you probably have his name somewhere. you could probably find out his info.

This world is full of idiots. Get that police report done so the law can deal with him.
I cannot believe a Z owner did this to another Z owner..... |
That guy should have his Z Card revoked.

There's another black Z that's around my area, sport/touring as well, but I've seen him around since summer, so he'd not have "just bought it"... I'll keep my eyes peeled. That's nuts... |
That assh*le should have his Z revoked.
|
Not worth getting in trouble over...let the police handle it...you did the right thing by filing that report...

I remember a guy on here a month or so back say he was hit in his apt parking lot and new who did it, filed a police report and nothing came out of it as no one saw it and it couldnt be prove I guess. Never heard about the final outcome of it. |
Damn... sorry to hear that... btw, the guy who put his anger on your z has no life.

Plus if he tried to buy the Z at your dealer you guys should have some info on him. Insurance or a lawsuit should cover his lose. |

I had my tires slashed and entire 350z keyed about 4 years ago, I knew exactly who did it, but I could not prove it. But yes, you are right, he shouldn't take it into his own hands he should probably try and get over it. It's done, theres probably nothing he can do. |
thats f'd up.
|
I think I'd be happy living life knowing this guy is probably some nobody who will never be successful in life and will continue to spend twice as much on his car payment as he does on his rent payment and probably lives paycheck to paycheck. Screw him, he's nothing.

find his car and slash all four of his tires.:stirthepot:
Just make sure its not Kannibuls car. That would be a big ooooppsie. lol |
This makes zero sense.
1st- Where's the pics of your tire damage? 2nd- I sell cars and the sales manager never enters the customer info for a deal. Salesmen always run the formalities, even if the owner of the dealership makes a sale. Even if a sales manager ups and closes a deal, it goes to the salesman for a commission, sales managers will gross on closing, but regardless the salesman still makes coin too... So in closing, the story just don't make sense? |

Yup, mature and best way to handle an issue like a tire slashing is to have a police report done (necessary if you want insurance to pay for the new tires) and then get the new tires and be done with it/ move on. As you mentioned, SMcK23 the cops will put little energy / worry into the pursuit of some mere property damage. Damage like this happens lots and is not given any care/priority by police. Also as you mentioned, if you take matters into his own hands and kick the crap out the guy it will undoubtedly only lead to your getting an assault charge all for some low-life scum bag.. Not to mention, now he will have somebody come by and key your car, etc. As I mentioned in this thread earlier on, get the insurance $ and new tires and forget about it. Of course, if the vandalism on your property was to continue then pressure on the police to pursue the perpetrator would be in order. |
