Sorry I havent updated anything...Been working few all day shifts. But the good news is tuesday they tracked him down at his home and questioned him. Since the surveillance didn't catch the 'act'...they had to get him to confess, and he did...rather quickly I was told. His reason on doing it was something along the lines that he had been frustrated with our dealership not giving him the price he wanted...and he was even frustrated with the dealer he bought at...and paid more than he wanted to. But he took it out on me cause where I work and that I drive a Z too? Even though I wasn't even involved or saw him when he came in. Makes me feel better that my friend officer pat said he was pretty nervous and even scared with what was going to happen to him. But I am pressing charges, and going to make it where he has to pay for the cost of damage, tow, etc. The guy is a Douchebag...he was the night I bumped into him. Cocky and full of himself...I didnt like the kind of person he was right off that bat. sometimes you can just sense the kind of person they are. And its' e-z to sense a cocky d-bag...that didnt get his way...and obviously has a temper tantrum when that happens....now its punishment time....via Tulsa Police. I honestly am suprised how fast they tracked him down,...cause as kannibal mentioned earlier...cops take for ever to respond and follow through with anything around here, unless someones near death. But the fact that I was able to tip the police where the kid bought his car and somewhat of a time frame of when...they said that helped....and they were able to pick up 'some information' in the surveillance video...tag i assume........but its getting wrapped up now...he's caught,....he will soon get sentenced to whatever punishment...whether it probation, community service hours, or 30 days in the slammer, or combo....its been taken care of legally. and most importantly i am satisfied, so far.

Yeah, I'm surprised...TPD has a bit of a reputation of not giving a crap, but it sounds like you got one of the ones who doesn't have a "city owes me"...issue.

With all the layoffs (though I think they've rehired?) I'm honestly surprised anything happened.

Now, the real question - which dealership do you work at? LOL

If it's Riverside Nissan (which is no where near a River...) - well, they played hardball on the price with me, and I said no thanks, got back on my bike, and went to Jackie Cooper. The only other dealer I know of is in Broken Arrow...so...lol

that would make sense if he was a douchebag since a lot of the other Z forums are full of douchebags. (not saying everyone is, just a lot of dbaggery there)

Otherwise, you are lookin at a case that will be thrown out with the finishing of the police report. As far as personal retaliation, I mean u gotta be willing to accept some extreme circumstances, before going that route.
A) you can find him to beat his azz then come to find out he str8 gangksta n he fights for the hell of it and get ya azz beat.
B) even worse, you fight him n he pulls out a tool and empties out in your face.
Or
C) you get the upper hand and u r the gangksta but someone saw you do either A) or B) and your azz goes to jail.

My advice is... see if a camera caught it and get the plates. Then file a police report and small claims suit. If not? Eat it and see if tire guard will cover it if u have it?

That dudes a d1ck, but so many car dealerships always trying to get over that now consumers are picking random targets. This is what happens in a country with the overwhelmingly vast majority practices unfair business practices and rip off scams. And I'm not saying the OP is a dishonest guy but it seems like there's a lot of "poor me" salesguy stories in a industry that has too much power to screw over the consumer. (I know, I once sold cars). Most salesguys take on the mentality of " I'm just trying to survive like everyone else to excuse the rip off tactic and not take moral responsibilty for there actions. I will agree that many consumers also out to get something for nothing, but the ratio of these type consumers is low vs. sheisty businessmen. 93% of car consumers don't have the skill to get over on a car salesman. The reason why dude went to the manager is because the manager only cares about volume 1st, then profit. Corporate throws some nice kickbacks for volume sales.
The guys not right but honest businesses are 1 in 500,000. And the auto industry is one of the leaders in ripping people off. Once you are fully educated on how car sales works... ANY little sheist will vex you to the fullest.
370's are one of the most victim targeted cars out there. Between rip off touring package. (Is no way worth an extra $3,800) to the different financing for the Z.(5.9% for prime? Come on). People are just more combative these days. If u not robbing them on interest, you robbing them on trade ins. If not on trade ins? You aren't announcing the rebates

There is little to no justification for slashing someones tires. He totally didn't have to go there. That was corny, faggy and immature. I woulda just rolled up to the dealership in the new Z and shook the hand of the guy who I wheeled and dealed with and told him. Thanks for your effort. Then showed him my new car. Lol. Why? Cuz I'm a D1k like that. Lol...
Then I would give him the best advice you can give a salesman. Always make the deal! You might not get the paper u wanted that moment, but when u bangin out 60 or 70 or even 90 sales a month. You get noticed quickly! Too many salesguys think bout now and not what bangin out crazy sales back to back does for corporate opportunity. Most salesguys think they doin somethin if they sell 1 car a day or every other day makin4%. Id rather sell 3 a day making 1%. Volume over percentage.

so being a gansta means you can fight? LOL. Its is too bad no one just wants to do a plain old fist fight to settle things today. But being a gangsta doesnt mean you can fight, Im sure there are plenty of MMA and other people who have been in alot of fights that kick ganstas assess.
