I think I'd be happy living life knowing this guy is probably some nobody who will never be successful in life and will continue to spend twice as much on his car payment as he does on his rent payment and probably lives paycheck to paycheck. Screw him, he's nothing.

This makes zero sense.
1st- Where's the pics of your tire damage? 2nd- I sell cars and the sales manager never enters the customer info for a deal. Salesmen always run the formalities, even if the owner of the dealership makes a sale. Even if a sales manager ups and closes a deal, it goes to the salesman for a commission, sales managers will gross on closing, but regardless the salesman still makes coin too... So in closing, the story just don't make sense?

My point is he says he wouldn't have made any commission. If he sells cars, then he would know that he would still have made commission.

Let's face it---it sucks...but its property damage! Cops need to worry about a lot more stuff than that! "Tire slashing" sure isn't on the top of their list of crimes to solve, but there is no point for the owner to "take matters into his own hands" and kick the crap out the guy. It will only lead to him geting an assault charge all for some low-life.

Yup, mature and best way to handle an issue like a tire slashing is to have a police report done (necessary if you want insurance to pay for the new tires) and then get the new tires and be done with it/ move on. As you mentioned, SMcK23 the cops will put little energy / worry into the pursuit of some mere property damage. Damage like this happens lots and is not given any care/priority by police. Also as you mentioned, if you take matters into his own hands and kick the crap out the guy it will undoubtedly only lead to your getting an assault charge all for some low-life scum bag.. Not to mention, now he will have somebody come by and key your car, etc. As I mentioned in this thread earlier on, get the insurance $ and new tires and forget about it. Of course, if the vandalism on your property was to continue then pressure on the police to pursue the perpetrator would be in order. |

I am in no way saying take things in your own hands, but if the cops in Okie city are like the one's down here..... well we have a guy named Marvin, 100$ a tooth. Give him 300$, you get three of the guys teeth.
