G37 Performance
I am not sure how accurate this site is but it lists G37 doing 0-60 in 4.9 secs.
0-60 Times & 0-60 Comparisons I know 0-60 isn't everthing but that's pretty amazing given that G37 weighs 300lbs more than the Z but cranks out similar 0-60 runs. I think G even has same gearing as the Z, so how can they post similar times as the Z. Thanks Last edited by sbkim; 02-07-2009 at 08:31 AM. |

I don't think its faster than the Coupe. For the G37 Sedan, they did increase the weight just a little more. Probably from sound deadening materials. So it now weighs almost the same as the Coupe.
And it seems like the G37 Sedan is trapping a good 1.0-1.5 mph higher than the 07-08 G35 Sedan. The G37's are good for mid 13's assuming a good driver and decent conditions. P.S. What really helped the G37's in their automatic transmission. It's far superior to the old 5AT and can now perform almost as good as the 6MT. |

Ok managed to test drive a 09 G37s. I know this is Z forum so I won't go into much details but to say the least, I am very impressed with the car. So confusing because the 7AT (in DS and Manual mode) felt more responsive than 2 other Z 7AT I test drove. I even had 2 adults in the car, including one fat *** salesperson weighing prob more than 220lbs... Not sure what Infiniti does differently but the car felt stronger than the auto Z. I am thoroughly confused

I'll get back to you with the specs but as far as i know G37 sedan traps about 1-2 mph higher than the coupe.
G37 sedan is as fast as the stock 335 at any speed. |

UPDATE - for those who care, just found out that I test drove a 2008 G37 with 5 speed auto. I guess I am reading on the G forums that many are finding the 5 speed to be more responsive than the 7 speed. I am planning to test drive a 2009 G37 with 7 speed next week to see if there is difference.

This site doesn't have figures for the G37 sedan yet but it has a pretty extensive data base of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for a lot of different cars.
