Well I'm from NYC and I'm Irish and nobody ever threw coins at me, in a car out out of a car. Need better friends....

I'm from Virginia. People down here just throw empty beer cans on the floor of your car. It's not really a good luck thing.

I thought they threw tins of Skoal on the floor down that way

my girlfriend is Jewish and the first time she jumped into my Z, she threw me something else.....and I shot her something back in a happy ending!

My friends dad threw like 3 quarters into my car when I first got it. Deff not a Jewish thing.

My friends ARE NOT jewish, money under the floor mat is suppose to be good luck when you first get a car. Like I said they are NOT jewish though so...no coins here, bills only usually 5's

I'm an Italian in NY. When I got my Z I had coins, dollar bills, 10s, 20s thrown in my car. It's a pretty common tradition here.

Living in NJ, and reading this thread I have come to the conclusion. My friends are eaither:
A. Cheap
B. D-Bags
C. All of the above.

My wife is Jewish and her mom and grand dad sat in my car soon after I purchased, I got nothing so I imagine it isn't a Jewish thing. However, it is really a cool idea, I will certainly do that for all my friends from here on out, as is typical, cool things originate from New York (dammit it's the concrete jungle wear dreams are made of).

I'm glad I'm on the west coast. If you threw anything into my car I'd tell you to pick it the eff back up. :rofl2:

So if I was in NY or NJ I would go to the dealers and test drive a new car and then come home and show my friends and say its my new car, get the coins, take it back bring home another one and keep going like that till they run out of coins. LOL.

my Jewish friends look for **** in my car they can sell.
