VDC OFF = Main cause of accidents in the 370Zs!

VDC on or off combined with a stupid driver = accident. |

I haven't pitched a 370Z sideways yet, but I have plenty of seat time in the 350Z, and that was a really easy car to throw around. Most people go a little too overboard with the throttle to initiate the drift, and end up spinning around. It's a balancing act, and it takes some practice to master.

^is that your M? LMAO! It looks like its snapping back from the initial slide haha! Its a weird pic!

Haha, not mine. That E39 belonged to an M5Board.com member named "Unkle Tom." He was doing a drift event at the Nurburgring GP circuit and had a little too much fun with it. The video wasn't too crazy, but it took one hell of a picture.
Some pics of him in action: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...s/hhdc04_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...20518_0051.jpg Bigger picture of my avatar: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...hm5sliding.jpg My unreliable V8 E39 sadly isn't an M... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8.../E39E90016.jpg |
LOL it looks like he got into real trouble. Did he make it or it flipped?
|
He made it. The picture makes it looks nuts, but in the video it wasn't too scary. You see it tip up, but it fell back over quickly. If I can find the video I'll shoot it your way, as the whole event was really impressive.
