VDC OFF = Main cause of accidents in the 370Zs!

stupid drivers = main cause of accidents. I've had my VDC off since 18 years of age including the VDC on my old car.

VDC on or off combined with a stupid driver = accident.

I haven't pitched a 370Z sideways yet, but I have plenty of seat time in the 350Z, and that was a really easy car to throw around. Most people go a little too overboard with the throttle to initiate the drift, and end up spinning around. It's a balancing act, and it takes some practice to master.

^is that your M? LMAO! It looks like its snapping back from the initial slide haha! Its a weird pic!

Haha, not mine. That E39 belonged to an M5Board.com member named "Unkle Tom." He was doing a drift event at the Nurburgring GP circuit and had a little too much fun with it. The video wasn't too crazy, but it took one hell of a picture.

Some pics of him in action:

My unreliable V8 E39 sadly isn't an M...

LOL it looks like he got into real trouble. Did he make it or it flipped?

Brendan@Bwalk 04-22-2010 07:53 PM

He made it. The picture makes it looks nuts, but in the video it wasn't too scary. You see it tip up, but it fell back over quickly. If I can find the video I'll shoot it your way, as the whole event was really impressive.
