2010 OWNERS- high pitched whine?

I know that this has been covered several times in the past with the 2009 370z, which has been determined to be caused by the ECU. Has anyone had any issues with 2010 models having the same issues?

I have a 2010 Nismo and it's making the same described noises as the 2009 models do: high pitched/frequency whining when driving. It's not as noticable or the noise doesn't occur when idling or at high speeds. I'm a little hesitant to take it into the dealership for an ECU fix as it's a Nismo model.

I just want to know if anyone with the 2010 model year is having the same issue.

Yes! I often hear the noise in the morning for about 10 minutes or so after starting the car.

It is nowhere near as bad as some of the descriptions I've read here from '09 owners, but it is definitely there.

However, I like my music loud and/or windows down, so it hasn't bothered me much at all. I will address it in the future if it gets any worse or irritates me any further.

when i test drove another z in another color that i ended up not buying, it had the high pitched noise. i have good ears so i could hear it clearly, but it wasn't to a point it was bothersome. it was defintely there though.

it seems some cars are louder than others?

if it doesn't bother you i'd just leave it as is. it's not like the z is any luxury car anyways and it has plenty road noise.

my z does not have the high pitched noise.

There's a high pitch whine @ 3rd gear 3000rpm in my car.
