call me crazy, maybe we have different tastes, i dunno, but if the cars were comparatively priced (when i went car hunting the 08's and 370s were priced the same for the base), 30hp and all the other added benefits would just be a no brainer, regardless of how the car looked, it was plain to see to me that the car just had way more potential. And you didnt give him any chit for doing that?

I mentioned it once, but ultimately his money..no matter what I or his girl said he was going to do what he wanted. I know where he got his car they typically drop the prices big time when new model arrives (Bankston Dallas).

My GF and I were having dinner at one of her friends house. Her friends husband has an 03 350. We were comparing and he was definitely feeling the pain so to speak. Or more or less praising the progression the 370 makes over the 350. Sitting in the 350 you can really get a sense of how the interior quality has improved and the overall stance and stature of the 370 is just damn right mean! We had a good chat and shared the same opinion of how usually with a successor there is always SOMETHING that sucks or has been sacrificed. But really, in the 370 everything has been improved. Sure, the looks could be argued, but performance and build quality...You can't argue that.

After reading this thread, I've come to one conclusion. For some odd reason, a lot of you are kinda snotty and think your **** doesn't stink. Why is that? Do you like talking smack about 350Z owners when I bet half of you had one before?

I'm sad to say that the more I read, the more I disagree with you guys. I don't want to generalize, but that's what some of you are doing to the Z33 owners.

Just because it's been around a few years doesn't mean it's cheap or deserves to be looked down upon. If that were the case, then I'd look down on the older Z's that can be bought for mere thousands.

For the record, I wave at all Z cars. I don't care what year. Maybe the reason Z34 owners don't see us 'steerage' waving is because you're too busy looking at yourself in the mirror.

100% agree. Just because you drive something newer or with more hp doesnt make you better than everyone else. To be honest I like the 300zx more than the 350 AND 370

I beg to differ, come to one of my Z club meets, every last one will tell you they'd let a giraffe fuck them sideways and twice missionary for my car...

there is no 350 hate here, however, what there is is a generalization that all 350 owners are snobby douchebags, which I can attest may be true in many respects, but point taken, not all are a part of the dbag crowd, just most.

As far as heritage goes, I think Nissan screwed the pooch with the 300, dont get me wrong, a TT V6 from the factory is a nice touch, but the overhaul of the design from the original Z cars really put me off, as well as the 40k+ price tag.

Ok MOST arent jealous. But seriously, the majority of you guys on here (not saying you dude) are making Z owners look bad. What ever happened to the fanatics? What happend to buying this car and respecting its HISTORY? If you truly love this car you would understand that. I go out with any kind of Z that wants to join our group. If ANYONE came into our group with the attitude most of you have we would tell you to get fuckin lost. So many people here are so damn negative its sad. I can clearly see who bought this car to try to make people think better about them lol.

The Z is a fantatic car, NOT a "look at me" car.

Not saying YOU dude lol. You're cool from what I know.

Ok well lets give it right back to all these guys here trying to act like they are better than others. I drive a Murcielago therefore I'm better than all of you. I LAUGH MY *** OFF when you stare at me with that jealous look on your face wishing you could own something that costs more than your houses

I went to a car meet this weekend and I was the only 370Z out 10 350Z. One of my best friend still drive 350Z and we compliment each other in our rides.

I still think that the 350Z is a nice platform.

I think that "hate" between 350 and 370 owners is childish!!!!
