with 1,300 posts I wonder :icon17: No hard feelings, and I didn't see that about "dealer installed", so THAT is new news to me.

Aye, but at the same time I want to add both oil and tranny cooler, new clutch and flywheel and adding the cost for installation (i'm an EE, not an ME), we're approaching $10k. It's ok though... I get my 1 month sabbatical in 3 years which comes with a $10k bonus, so I just have to be patient :yum:

Wow...so we could buy a Z and have Nissan install this kit right there? 5899 for 515 HP? My question would be warranty...since Nissan installs it, does that mean they warranty it? What about resale value?

The horsepower-loving team over at Costa Mesa-based Stillen is getting ready to unleash what it thinks will be a very popular product for a very popular car: a supercharging kit for Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37 vehicles that boosts power from 332 hp to 515, all running while on 91-octane gas.

The kit is currently undergoing testing from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and is targeted to begin shipping later this month. All the parts for it are made either at Stillen’s headquarters or elsewhere in Orange County, company officials said.

Starting price will be $5,899, and will require 10 to 12 hours to install by a shop, Stillen reps said. Nissan dealers around the nation are also ordering the kit to make it available as an option on the cars, which use the same V6 engine. (Infiniti is the luxury division of Nissan.)

HAHA..I know that's right. But the supercharger sounds sweet. If I only had 6K, I'd be in for it! But I have better things to do with the money than to dump it into any car...unless, however, I won the lottery :)

Did I just buy something for 2K or 6K?!!! Big difference in prices there. And if I did have an extra 6K just laying around..it definitly woudn't be for all car parts. I have better morals than all that...but new leather seats, a new stereo system , and turbo would be nice. But now I'm a broke B*TCH haha I opted for the house..already got the Z, can't complain
