Default Hi, Someone please update me with the 370z !!!

Hello folks i am considering purchasing a 370z but i need to now what are some of the common problems with this car ( 09 model problems? 10 model?). Also what are the first mods that people usually do to this car! It would be very helpful if someone could answer these questions...

What's your biggest beef with your 370z/any other car?

Problems: can't stop driving the thing, everyone wants to race you, smudged glass on the driver and passenger windows where people cup their hand to peer inside
First mod: CAI, HFC, and CBE seem the best for performance but I'm going with locking lugs, H&R 15mm/20mm spacers, and tint for starters

Yeah, that about sums it up.

Can you please tell me more about the ecu noise? what exactly is causing the noise and how would you fix it. And can you tell me more about the thin paint issue and the hatch issues, have they fixed these problems on the 2010 models?

i have an 09 and the ecu noise is just a high pitch noise coming from the ecu inside the car i dont have the problem and not all Z's do but some have had the issue the paint isnt much of a problem for me either because i have silver so it doesnt show as much but compared to a genesis 3.8? no comparison i looked at the two and the Z is just in a whole dif category in performance imo

screw the srm, the genesis is a better match up with the 350HR, not the 370

Poeple must not be complaining about the ECU Noise, because there nothing in the sevice tech online support.

Nissan uses soft paint, get a clear bra

Hatch- hold the button in for a full second.

Everyone uses soft paint.. To be honest my Nissan paint has been better than the civic si paint. Everycar these days scratch easily. The only thing that pisses me off is how they didn't paint undr the hood like they did the outside of the car. They did it to cut cost.
