wonder how much the reviewer got paid to say that... need to be objective about these things to be taken seriously...

I'm a fan of the car... but a bit over the top I say... a porsche or an m3 maybe?

Phrausty 04-11-2010 04:11 AM

Car that I want to own before I die would probably be a Carrera GT

spearfish25 04-11-2010 07:29 AM

Still want my Audi R8 5.2...

kenchan 04-11-2010 07:35 AM

ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I'd probably say an R8. Def. not a M3 or any Porsche. Any lambo would be nice too, I just have a huge soft spot for the noises they make.

Vegitto-kun 04-11-2010 08:22 AM

yeah I don't know why people talk about the M3 or porsche, both have become so mainstream here.

if you need to talk BMW atleast say the M6 or that overpowered 760

That's my favorite car right now as well.

My top 3 list would look like this

1. Audi R8 5.2
2. Maserati gran turismo S
3. Porsche cayman S

The Z is a great car and even better for the price, but let's face it. We are talking gotta have before you die... Not gotta have by next years tax return.

IDZRVIT 04-11-2010 09:11 AM

'70 hemi 'cuda convertible.

navamous 04-11-2010 09:56 AM

I'd probably get the Bugatti Veyron or a Lambo reventon sexy cars!!

DjSquall 04-11-2010 10:02 AM

Personally, I would like to roll in a Murcielago. That has been my dream car for the last 10 years :)

Kastley85891 04-11-2010 10:05 AM

GT3 RS
M5
RS6
GTR

tjlazer 04-11-2010 10:13 AM

I'll keep it a little real. A 2009 GTR. One day.... ;)

Mag350Z 04-11-2010 10:21 AM

the reviewer also made an error by stating that the standard 370 engine makes 350 HP and 276 TQ. Guess he was confused over the Nismo.

They are coming out with a new baby R8 next year, looks to be pretty cool and good power but not R8 price.

R8 would definitely be at the top of my list, as well as an Aston DBS

That, and they managed 22 mpg. Must've been babying it. I got 18 on the last tank and thought I was being easy on her.

The Audi R8 is awesome but I'd take a GTR. I've never wanted a car as bad as that one. I'm a Nissan chick :driving:

Push370zzz 04-11-2010 12:04 PM

He also said the 370 weighs 3000 lbs ................ missed it by 200 to 300 lbs depending on your model.

JACKPAC 04-11-2010 12:12 PM

I wouldn't mind the revention, Zonda F, or an Aston Martin 77 one. But 2 of the 3 you have to be invited to buy!!

o0javi0o 04-11-2010 12:49 PM

Carrera GT Gemballa Mirage
360 Modena (love the look and sound)
GT3 RS
Vantage V8

I'm quite happy with the cars I have but I can think of some women I'd like to take for a spin before I die. :eekdance:

If I had to limit it to a car, it would probably be a Lambo or a Ferrari. :yum:

VCuomo 04-11-2010 02:53 PM

If they averaged 22MPG during the test, as the article claims, then they sure didn't push the car at all...

Red370 04-11-2010 03:01 PM

Zonda R Clubsport. Period.

If you're gonna do a Porsche, do it right, Carrera GT.

Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches, waaaay too played out, EVERYBODY and their mom wants one. And VOMIT @ R8. http://forums.mg-rover.org/images/smilies/pukeface.gif

marcussoori 04-11-2010 03:03 PM

Gallardo Spyder or F355 Spider

Dan37TZ 04-11-2010 03:19 PM

I think the reviewer was referring to the average person, who usually won't be able to afford all these uber exotics. I mean yes I would love to own a Carrera GT, Zonda, Lambo, Ferrari ect. before I die, but chances are unless I win the lottery I don't think I will be able to "own" one. I mean there is a lot of things I would like to do also before I die, like go into space LOL. Chances are that won't be feasible. ;)

fullmonty 04-11-2010 03:29 PM

I like my Z but I would never describe it as the car you Need to drive before you can die. Not in a million years.

:iagree: I think they meant the one car that most people would afford. I want a Lamborghini too, but all i could afford is a 370Z. :eekdance:

gamallama 04-11-2010 06:04 PM

Ferrari Enzo, or 430

more realistically, v10 R8 or a GTR

AMC de lorean.

though this verison is kinda fugly... cant hate on a car with its entire body plated with gold. only 2-4 were produced i believe

Room42 04-11-2010 08:27 PM

Clean Buick GNR (original series), GTR
dreaming - Aston Martin Vantage

gumpy 04-11-2010 08:29 PM

people here are listing dream cars as must own before you die... this will end in fail... stop it...

When people say things like "do such and such before you die" they're generally acheivable things...

WICKED_GRIN 04-11-2010 10:08 PM
