Are you feeling the same, Noisy
Hello,
I am not sure if all Z owners are feeling and hearing the same. It was so noisy after the speed hit around 70Km/hr (50MPH). It is the noise of tires rolling over the pave. Or, it just happened to my car. How can I get rid of that? I have to shout when driving over 70MHP. Thanks for sharing. Last edited by Thavee; 04-08-2010 at 06:02 PM. Reason: typo |

Years ago my old Pontiac Grand Am was making this funny, high pitched noise any time I was not breaking. I know instantly what that issue is now, but back then, I was just learning about cars. So I took it to my wise uncle, who knew everything about cars.
He immediately knew what the issue was, and how to fix it. He looked me dead in the eye and told me to roll up the windows and turn the stereo louder. It was amazing, I never heard that noise again. I only had the car a couple more months after that though, as the brakes failed for some reason and I slammed it into a tree. |

I've had this car a week now.
I also drive an RX-8 and ride a bike. This car is not loud. Used to drive a 76 vette (POS) years ago. That was loud...and had no benefits. To all those that feel this car is too loud...this probably isn't the right car for you. |

How loud that noise is depends on the type of pavement you are on. Here are my fixes.
1. Upgrade audio, I no longer hear it. 2. Dynamat the entire rear hatch and wheel wells, doors. seriously much better

I dunno how the roads are in Canada but i suspect they're much better than here in Australia... our road quality is probably among the worst in the developed road and the tyre road can get unbearably load in the car on the wrong surface.
