Last of the 370 "J"Cars?

I'm finding conflicting information on where the 370z will be manufacture after March 2010,India keeps coming up in searches.

I'm wondering if the 2010s are the last of the 'J' cars,an are now the "I" Car

Sorry for the link not actually naming the 370z.

But when I search for the manufacturing plant,I keep finding the India plant maybe the new build location ,which is set to start manufacturing March 2010 for international distribution for some yet to be announced models.

I'm trying to find out if they are moving the Z's manufacturing plant to India.

The current Z is built in Tochigi, Japan.

I like Thai better...

My window sticker showed the final assembly point as Japan and 100% Japan-made parts, so I would think they were manufactured in Japan. Whether they stay in Japan or not is beyond me.

I'd hate to see this, a Japanese sports car built in India... It's like how the new American muscle car, the Camaro, is built in Canada...

They may move production of the other vehicles. But I believe they'd continue to build the GT-R and 370z in Japan for the sole reason of people being JDM crazy and not wanting a car built in India for quality/lineage purposes.

I read in a Nissan Sport that Nissan is thinking on moving some of their factories to the US :dunno:

Small volume specialty/image vehicles like the Z will always be built in Japan. Expect something very small and inexpensive to be built in India for local consumption.

Currently they are producing the Pixo in Manesar.

And this year they will start producing the March, beginning 2011 a subcompact and end 2011 the Livina in Oragadam (CHENNAI). Probably locally the cars get different names... but no 370Z's....
