There are other causes of this as well. The springs or "teeth" on the pressure plate could have lost there spring. Or, the throw out bearing is getting stuck on

There are other causes of this as well. The springs or "teeth" on the pressure plate could have lost there spring. Or, the throw out bearing is getting stuck on the shaft. Thats what happened on my 350z at 35k miles. New pressure plate solved the problem.

The best thing out of this is that the car idles a lot better now. Also I don't think I will ever lower my car. It barely made it onto the back of the flatbed using two 2X4. It took out the front chin spoiler so now I have to pop it back in. I'd hate to think of what might have happened if I had lowered my car previously.
