I cant blame the VDC it was off .

leaving VDC on on most of those crashes which seem to be drifting and spinning against something would of prevented it but the idiots turned it off.

you make it sound like I am blaming the VDC.

If you're coming from a rear wheel drive car with a fat *** and without VDC like a mustang, truck, etc, then you should be fine with VDC on OR off. However, You should slow down if you feel VDC is holding you back during your daily driving or on public streets...

Pardon the expression: It saves your @$$.

It's saved mine. It just started to rain. I did an aggressive lane change not realizing just how wet the road was (even though it looked dry). I felt the Z start to rotate (fishtail at 90mph). VDC kicked in before I could say "Oh..." and straightened the car out.

It's easy to kick the rear end out. I leave it on.

Has anyone tested the car without VDC on and with the TC fuse pulled? Notice any additional power linearity and torque? Was considering the idea of wiring in a switch to one of my extra three center console buttons which runs to the Bosch module so that you could fully disable traction control if you wanted to via a quick switch.

Thoughts?

Well if you did that, and had it all turned off....and crashed.....then I'm betting the insurance company might not want to pay out....Turning off VDC is a factory option (for now) so I don't think that's an issue in a crash....but adding off switches to the ABS and traction control modules...could be dicey.

There is absolutely no difference in performance until you break traction.

I hear if you completely pull out the braking system and stop the car with a parachute, you gain 80hp.

Try it.
GSS138 and Motionmagic like this.

It doesn't take over during normal driving conditions, unless your normal driving conditions mean that you drive on the edge of adhesion all the time.

Troll spotted.

Anywho, was more interested in seeing the difference than the warnings, although I appreciate the concern. Does anyone have a link to the video?

Busting a rim and a fender?

I know, that was mean. I'm so ashamed.
