which is far beyond me, M3's are not like Z's in the fact that our SDS systems can produce the same power the turbo applications can, not the case at all when it comes to the 3.2L, a turbo of the same cost produces 60-80whp more, which is why it perplexes me.

e46 M3 produces 333hp naturally aspirated which is pretty much the same numbers as our z..just 300lbs heavier..haha

shabarivas 04-06-2010 03:54 PM

an SC kit that added even say 80whp should more than make up for a 300lb difference... maybe the owner of the car weighs like 900 lbs...

wishihadnav 04-06-2010 04:00 PM

^^haha!...u got a good point there..

E46 m3 coupes are 3400lbs. You are confusing with E90/E92s.

One thing about E46 M3s is that an average driver will not be able to drive that car fast.

Turbo kits are real expensive for Bimmers. The price to supercharge are alot more reasonable. He paid 4.5k for the kit used.

Dinan setups are bad *** for the M3. Not sure why he SC it

The BBK will also hurt him in a drag race since it's only adding rotational weight to the car without giving any benefit.

How about you go to the same dyno were he put down 400whp and do a few runs?
