I wasn't sure if I liked the rims or not until i saw them in Person. I can't stress enough how much pictures do not do the 370Z justice.
My wife hated the stock lip and wheels on the car and wanted to replace them as soon as we picked ours up. I told her she needed to wait until she saw them in person. We finally saw a sport package this weekend and they are NIIIICE! We will be keeping the car as stock as possible (looks wise) for as long as we can without it looking dated. Man... I feel the same way... I dont think I've seen any stock/optional rims as sexy as these. ITS AMAZING. I love the fact that its light in weight too. No aftermarket rims for me... rather, im using that money for a new exhaust.^^

A little less wheel well?? Any less and the tires would be rubbing the fender! It looks just right to me as it is and any lower it wouldnt look right. I also agree with the first post. These 19" rays look sweet on the Z. Now the engine bay is where I am spending my money. Twin Turbo Baby!!

Keep the stocks for daily and get some track wheels! That's what I'm doing.

I think 18's would be better for performance, but even if you don't use the BBKs, the stock brakes are pretty big. I'm pretty positive that's why Nissan had to use a 19" wheel for the sports package.
I'll likely be using the RE30's in a 19" for my track wheels... They look good, so if I get lazy and leave 'em on, I won't be driving around on ugly wheels. LOL But I really do love the look of the stock rays.

I have an 04 mach1, and the stock rims that came with it are perfect for the car. I did end up changing my rims though, but i went with the same design through AFS Wheels and got the 9" up front and the deep dish 10.5" out back and instead of the grey on the inside of the mags i went with black, cause i have the oxford white with black decal stripe. really sets the car off when the right rims are on it and the sport package z rims are definately on point! |
