Toyota needed big incentives and rebates to bring customers back to Toyota, and in turn forced every other manufacture to increase their rebates and incentives to stay completive. It was a great boost in sales. Also looks like Toyota is keeping the incentives and rebates in place for April. So expect another big month for Nissan!

Also take into account seasonal states haven't received any 2010 coupes, except for the 40th. For example I have zero 2010 coupes to sell.
What's the deal with that? In my area around Milwaukee all they have are '09 automatics and a few '10 roadsters. I've seen 1 '10 base coupe (auto) Makes no sense to me.

I'd love it to be a rare car, but I wouldn't want the Z car to die with the 370. But you can't have your cake and eat it too, I guess

Not saying that the Nissan line up is pretty good.
i honestly doubt the ft-86 will boost there sales up that much.

I bought my Z March 19th & my dad leased his Altima in Feb, so we are doing our part to help the economy. Plus, Nissan makes great products.

O fogot that the new standards will raise the car prices on avg of 4-6k.
The economy standard was raised gradually through the 70's and 80's but has been stagnant for the last 20 years.

You do realize that if something isn't done to reduce consumption then the day of the gasoline engine will be over all that much quicker, there's not an endless supply out there.

The new standards aren't unrealistic, they are a goal, and most manufacturers should be able to reach that goal without having to kill off their sports cars. If you don't meet the goal you pay a fine, something which Porsche has been doing since the beginning.
