Amuse one-off exhaust
One thing that most people don't know about Amuse is that they (upon request and somewhat regularly) build one-off exhausts for their customers in Japan. Unfortunately, it's not as easy for those of us overseas as they need the car in there shop to get it done. I suppose they could technically just build the exhaust on one of their shop cars and send it over if someone really wanted one, but I'd expect it to be rather pricey.
Anyways, check this out. Can you tell where the canister inspiration came from? (Props goes to jdmevolved.com for finding these images) -Mike Bratcher |

The regular systems go for around $2-4k; I'm not sure what a custom one-off would go for but I'd expect much more. Good quality custom exhaust work is generally not cheap and this is about the best custom exhaust work you can have done.

Zele eat your heart out. lol
Still, JDM = $, Custom JDM? I don't have enough kidneys to give away for that! with that said, looks kinda weird imo, but could be just me. it's not as 'clean' as i'd like, way too cluttered down there lol.

how exactly are their exhausts customized? are there any differences between individual cars that need customization or is it based on customer preferences about power and sound? and why do they need the car? dont they already know the various specs and measurements necessary? not that i'm the least bit interested in their service. i'm sure for that money i can go and get a supercharger kit instead.

Also, when building a custom exhaust system you want the car on site so you can verify fitment. It is best not to use a "dummy" car because of slight differences.

so how do these one size fits all aftermarket exhaust systems work? do you get fitment issues because of those slight differences between cars? or even the stock exhaust, how do they fit? i doubt nissan creates a customized exhaust for every single car off their assembly line.

There are many different reasons, but when going with a custom exhaust you want the car on site for the best result. Plus you can dial things in better, sound, flow, etc.
