Default So confused need help!!

Okay, thanks to Robert_Nash for the hook-up of VPP!!! But I have found myself in a real dilemma... I can get the Z using VPP or I can get an Evo X for $32,000 with a 5-speed and hids, bigger wing, and rockford fosgate... yet the interior doesn't hold a candle to the Z. The revs during highway cruising is around 3200 to 3800 rpm, but it's also easy to derive power from the engine.

The Z has a better sounding engine and better for cruising. Yet only two seats... I love the interior in the Z.

I gotta choose quick or both deals will slip away.............................

HELP

Ya I posted on both forums to see what people like about their cars to see which one relates to me the most. I like the AWD 4-seater but I'm used to V6 engines...

do you want a riced out car or a nice sports car? And Im not being a d!ck as some people like the more too fast too furious look (rice to me) while others like a good looking sports car. Now if you are going to get the bigger wings and all even if you get the Z then Id go with the Evo, as a Z doest look good like that.

^ See there is another thing that gets me... isn't a civic with a huge wing and neon lights and a loud annoying exhaust a ricer... yes the evo has a wing but it has power. But it doesn't have the classy look of the Z for sure, I understand it from that side.

Another question is being able to fit into the Z.. I fit in the 350z haven't tried the 370Z. I am 5'11 210lbs

Rice doesnt apply to Honda only, its more like the race car looking car but it isnt used as such and is only on the street. If your not racing on a track the BIG wing does nothing more than what a subtle one does. The Evo does have power but it still has that too fast too furious look and IMO thats kinda ricey. The Z is really a true classy sports car. But it really depends on your taste.

We in recent years have changed the meaning of rice to be the uglier japanese cars. But 20 or 25 years ago, while we were in a cold war with the soviet union and american patriotism was dangerously runamuck. Rice meant cheap japanese car of any brand and was associated with not supporting the "american economy" when you bought one. The favorite joke on japanese sports cars was that the exhaust made that sound because it was laced with raw rice. The Z also had this label. Most americans hated the Z and Rx-7 stating they were the cheapest copies of porsches and corvettes.
Now americans have come to accept the inferior quality of the domestic sports car so they buy what they consider "the exception to the rule in japanese design" and call everything else rice. Then scream out japanese sports car heritage in a Z or skyline like your great grandfather was asian auto engineer??? Confusing ain't it. Lol.
Why can't you just call a car cheap without the subtle racist subversive comments? An evo in styling is what the japanese enthusiast market likes. Its part of there culture. If the mitsu is rice? Then the stang is a potatomobile? Or maybe a camaro is a corn machine? The challenger... hmmm the wheatmaker??? Keep it real please.

To the OP, you just need to break it down by what your needs & future are with the car. Also, I ended up not even really looking at the Evo X in the end because the dealerships were being the same about a test drive. I was about to leave the dealership with a group of them standing around me when one asked what I have already test driven, listed off a few cars, they started to scramble to find the keys but I had already left.

I've sat in the Evo.. but they never let me test drive it. They say, "you know what you're buying when you're interested in an Evo"

Yea wtf no test drive? The dealers i've gone always push me to test drive a car first before even checking out all the features. Don't buy unless you know what you're getting..and that requires a test drive.
