Bump. Many of the links in this thread are dead. Can we please re-upload these Garmin vehicle .srf files for those of us who never got them?

Alright everyone, I made my own Chicane Yellow 370z Garmin vehicle model. Here you go. All you have to do is connect your Garmin to your PC and copy the .srf file (inside the attached zip) into your Garmin's "Vehicle" folder. Then disconnect USB and select the vehicle from the Garmin settings.

Anyone have any idea how you could get these on a Nissan Nav. I tried just putting them on a flash drive and plugging it into the USB port, but who really thought is would be that easy.

I was the one that initially started this thread. Below is a working link to a zip file with 3 different color Garmin 370Z vehicles. (will not work with Nissan Nav, only Garmins)
Vehicle colors are dark gray, silver, blue. http://www.auffarth.com/BillFolder/Nissan370Z_MB.zip . |

I'll do a better version of MB (I don't like the one that's already out there) and I'll do red for now. Not sure when I'll have time to do it though. |

I'd like to have this as well. The closest I've found so far is a 350Z on Vehicles for GARMIN nuvi

I actually wanted a red one so I downloaded the yellow one and converted it to a .png file. I edited the .png file to make the car red using Paint Shop Pro 7 (you use your favorite photo editor). I then converted the file back to a .srf file and uploaded to my Garmin.
Here is a website that will allow you to convert .srf to .png and vice-versa. nüvi utilities Here are the steps I took: 1. Download the attached zip file (found earlier in this thread) 2. Extract the yellow_370z.srf file 3. Upload the file to nüvi utilities - Under Vehicle File Converters srf2png, click on "Choose File" - select the yellow_370z.srf file you extracted from the zip - click on "Convert it" and you can download the the .png file 4. Edit the .png changing the color of the car (you'll have to figure out how to do that based on the program your using) 5. Upload the file back to nüvi utilities, this time choosing the "png2srf" section 6. Once you've downloaded the new .srf you can hook up your Garmin and transfer it over. |
