Why didn't you just ask them to not mount the front bracket, and when they said no proceed to the next dealership. I live in NJ which requires the front

Why didn't you just ask them to not mount the front bracket, and when they said no proceed to the next dealership. I live in NJ which requires the front plate and I simply asked them not to mount the front bracket and it was not a problem.
